I combine systemic counselling with mindfulness and trauma-sensitive methods to develop clarity, stability and strategies that really suit you. Polyvagal theory helps us to better understand the connection between your nervous system, your emotions and your behaviour.
- Mindfulness: Exercises to help you clear your head.
- Trauma-sensitive methods: Regulating your nervous system and promoting inner safety.
- Systemic thinking: Looking at challenges in a wider context.
Step by step at your own pace
This is not about being perfect, but about finding ways that feel good for you. With clarity, stability and approaches that really suit your life.
As a specialist for ADHD I work with you on the following topics: self-esteem, time management, communication + behavior patterns, (hyper-)focus, emotion regulation, impulsivity etc.
!No diagnostic possible here!
Can you treat everything as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy?
A resounding no! And that's a good thing. My focus is on ADHD, AuDHD and neurodiversity - in other words, on the unique brains and realities of life that often lead to challenges in everyday life. Yes, I am familiar with the typical comorbidities such as anxiety, depression and burnout (because they are often part of the package). But I don't ‘treat’ them in the sense of curative treatment.
Specialised psychotherapeutic or medical support is particularly important for addiction, eating disorders or severe obsessive-compulsive disorders. I can provide support in these areas, but if you need more in-depth treatment, it makes more sense to turn to suitable specialists.
As an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy, I work with dialogues, systemic, mindful and somatic methods, but I do not diagnose or prescribe medication. So if you need something that goes beyond my scope, I will be happy to support you in finding the right help.
