Über mich
After working internationally for many years I have come home in Oxford in the UK. My travels have sensitised me to the ways in which each family culture is deeply informed by place, time and social circumstances, all of this so often out of our control. Many threads weave together to form the unique sense of self that each person carries within them. At the same time, I have also become increasingly aware of how much connects us all, the universality of what it is to be human, of this earth, embedded in an intricate web of relational experiences. This awareness deeply informs my therapeutic approach.

I am a person-centred psychotherapeutic counsellor. This means that your unique way of being in the world shapes how we work together to meet your therapeutic goals and needs.
Past experiences and intergenerational patterns impact on how we experience ourselves in the world. Counselling is supporting when grappling with the impact of trauma, emotional difficulties, loss and change. A therapeutic journey can also be an avenue for personal exploration, allowing you to explore more fulfilling ways of being by awakening a greater sense of aliveness.
I am qualified to work with children, adolescents and adults. This is important as our inner child and adolescent continues to live within and unmet needs, deep wounding and loss suffered by these parts of ourselves continue to influence us from within.
I work on a medium and long term basis, although I believe the seeds of healing can be sown in a few short sessions.
