Licensed Psychologist based in Athens. Offering Counselling / Psychotherapy in English and Greek, working with expats. LGBTQ+ Friendly
About me
I am a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist from Greece, currently based in Athens. Over the course of my life, I have had the opportunity to work in various countries, including Denmark, Spain, and Switzerland. Through my experiences as an expat myself, I have gained invaluable insight into the unique challenges an individual might face when adapting to new environments.
In addition to my work in private practice, I have also worked in public and NGO settings. Recently, I had the privilege of working at Athens municipal mental health clinic, as well as in a mobile mental health unit in Greece. In these roles, I provided psychotherapy, counseling services, evaluation, and psychosocial support to individuals with various mental health issues in remote and hard-to-reach areas. I am proud to have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of those who would otherwise have limited access to mental health services.
Furthermore, for the past year, I have been volunteering at Syntparksis NGO in Athens, offering psychotherapy and counseling sessions to individuals who are unable to afford mental health services. During practicum i have worked in the Psychiatric department of GNA. Hospital and for the past two years i collaborate with the "Eating disorders department" of Eginition Psychiatric Hospital where i have also trained in ED Psychotherapy Treatment.
My passion lies in helping people overcome past traumas, reclaim their power and authenticity, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. By providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space, I aim to empower my clients and help them find a path to healing and growth.
I offer online sessions as well as in person therapy sessions in Athens, Greece.

My approach
Whether you're seeking support for personal growth, navigating trauma, addressing eating disorders, mental health issues, or dealing with the challenges of being an expat, my approach can be tailored to your unique needs. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment for exploration, providing you with the tools and insights necessary for your journey to well-being.
I bring a diverse and integrative approach to my practice, rooted in extensive training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), psychodynamic theory, clinical psychology, trauma-informed therapy, and specialized training in eating disorders. Additionally, I have adopted an attachment style and existential viewpoint, along with expertise in intercultural therapy. In my work, I draw from significant experience gained through practical application of these approaches in various clinical settings. When suitable, I integrate contemporary, evidence-based techniques to provide the best possible treatment for my clients.
Throughout my life have cultivated a longstanding practice of mindfulness and meditation, and have adeptly incorporated the fundamental principles of these disciplines into my work. My approach is centered on exploration and insight, as well as collaboration, with a focus on identifying the root of clients' challenges, breaking maladaptive patterns, and fostering fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
In our therapeutic space, I emphasize the importance of cultural sensitivity and awareness. With expertise in intercultural therapy, I am well-versed in addressing the challenges faced by individuals, particularly expats, in navigating the complexities of cultural adaptation. We explore how cultural backgrounds impact one's identity, relationships, and overall well-being, fostering a space where diverse perspectives are valued and understood.
