Registered Social Worker offering psychosocial support in Athens
Do you need a safe and supportive environment to share your concerns, struggles and feelings? I am here to help you in your journey! I offer a free 30-minute consultation so we can see if this is the right fit.
Hi, my name is Claire and I am a licensed social worker from Ireland. I worked in the fields of medical social work and child protection before I moved abroad for five years doing psychosocial support with refugees and vulnerable individuals.
I believe in the importance of destigmatising mental health through informal support, as I have worked with individuals around the world who did not have experience receiving counseling before. I specialise in working with individuals who have suffered trauma, stress, burnout, grief, loss, relationship struggles as well as adapting to new environments. I have regularly conducted psychosocial assessments related to one's overall well-being.
I believe that everyone needs a safe and supportive environment where they are free to talk without judgement and with compassion. I use a strength-based approach in my sessions to:
-build a trusting relationship
-develop coping-mechanisms, and
-explore practical solutions for managing one's well-being
Please send me a message to set up a free 30-minute consultation.
