About Roisin

Originally from Ireland, I worked in teaching and academic publishing for many years before training as a Jungian psychoanalyst. My journey has taken me through many landscapes of experience that feed into my psychoanalytic work. I find every day truly fascinating as I work with clients to engage the unconscious and witness the psyche's infinite capacity for healing. It is a vocation and a true privilege to do this work.

My Approach

Like Jung, I firmly believe that change starts with the individual and that the best way to contribute to the human project is to have the courage to dive into the darkness and mystery of our own psyches. The Irish poet and philosopher John O'Donohue once wrote that 'We need to be mindful of where we are damaged, and then invite our deeper soul in its night world to heal this wounded tissue, renew us and bring us back into unity'.

This reflects something of what happens in a Jungian analysis. Through our work together, we reconnect you with your authentic inner self by examining your symptoms, relationship patterns, life events, dreams, fantasies, and images. We give voice to the neglected parts of you and seek to uncover new potentials that will help you on your path to change. By finding the meaning in adversity and engaging your full potential, it becomes possible to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
