About me

I am a relational psychotherapist with diverse studies (Medicine, counselling for trauma and addictions, couples & family therapy to name a few), and a profound willingness to help. I have been working in the field of therapy for over 12 years now (2023), having also managed an addiction treatment center, taught psychotherapy, and supervised therapists. I found psychotherapy to be for me, a way of being that is closer to our wishes and desires, a way to see ourselves through another, view ourselves differently, and a space that can hold all our thoughts and feelings in safety. My route into therapy and making therapy my profession, came from my own hardships and their incorporation to my humble and human experience.

My approach

As a therapist and through the years of working with people, I use the concept of relatedness and connection, being there for my clients the same way as I have experienced therapy and find meaning in everyday life. Working together is for me an open discussion, where you share your experiences in confidence, feel heard and valued, and choose the path you wish to take. I am willing to share information or provide guidance when needed, be open to difficult discussions and help you with whatever you would like to bring to our discussions.

In our initial session, we will explore the reasons that motivated you to reach out and possibly the outcomes you hope to achieve. Together, we will establish a schedule that suits your needs.

I offer supervision for therapists practicing different modalities, helping them embrace a more relational and holistic approach to their sessions, that can enhance their interactions with their clients throughout the therapeutic process.

Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Charles University in Prague, MF Novi Sad and the University of Leeds. Addictions Counselling at the University of Bath, UK. Systemic Thinking and Family Therapy at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AKMA), Greece. Existential Psychotherapy at the Hellenic Association for Existential Psychology, Greece. Managing Emotional and Mental Trauma at the University of Athens, Greece. Music Therapy at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disabilities in London, UK. Group Therapy at the Centre for the Research of Human Behaviour, Greece.
Experience
2012-today Systemic interventions, Existential therapy and coaching, Couples therapy, and family therapy at Panos Chronis Psychotherapy. 2012-2017 Associate partner at the Center for the Research of Human Behavior (Addiction Treatment and Group psychotherapy). 2017-present Founder of Panos Chronis Psychotherapy, a private practice initially based in Athens, Greece, and now online focusing on individual, group, and family therapy.
