I am a Greek-English speaking Psychologist and a psychotherapist in-training from Greece, located in the Northern suburbs of Athens. My purpose is to help individuals cope with their emotional and psychological needs. I have studied and lived abroad for many years, which I consider a unique experience in life. This experience entails a state of 'seeing and being seen' which gives the individual the opportunity for exploration, openness, interaction and reflection and contributes to integrative psychic development. This perspective is one of the reasons that I am interested in working with people from different cultural backgrounds.Just as in this social environment, we experience emotions and conflicts arising from the state of 'seing and being seen' and everything it entails, the same occurs also in the therapeutic environment but with the critical difference that the therapeutic context is a safe space, an 'esoteric' space where we are "looking in and out" and work through our difficulties together. Through communication we work together on the conscious and unconscious parts of the self with a purpose to find his/her true voice.
