Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a process of exploring different aspects of oneself as a unique individual and one’s life as a whole. This includes your distinct history and development and an attempt to better understand how that might have influenced your present way of being and living. We jointly explore both what you are currently experiencing, such as a specific symptom, and possible meaning(s) under the surface of this experience. The aim of such exploration is to help you to liberate yourself from old patterns and inhibitions, and make room for new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to oneself, others, and life in general.

The therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist is a cornerstone of any therapy, fostering the effectiveness of treatment and its positive outcomes. That is why I try to adapt my approach to the uniqueness of each individual, seeing every clinical encounter as a dialogue, a mutual process of exploration and learning.

I provide psychotherapy to individuals experiencing a variety of different symptoms or difficulties, including going through major life transitions, existential problems including death anxiety, problems of freedom and search for meaning, relationship issues, the experience of trauma, depression, worrying and anxiety, stress and burnout. I work with(in) the LGBTQIA+ community, among mentioned difficulties, addressing specific questions and exploration of sexuality and gender identity.
