I work with individuals and couples. With over 18 years of experience, I have worked with a wide range of individuals ranging from highly skilled professionals to refugees and migrants. I studied Counselling & Psychotherapy in London and have achieved PGDip and MA in this field.
Since 2017 I have been working with an EAP (Employee Assistance Program).
I have worked with various organisations working with PTSD, CPTSD, domestic violence and childhood abuse as well as sexual identity issues.
My belief is that healing is a process and based on this, I will be there to support you and help you look in more depth into your issues in order to make better sense of them, get to the root causes of your reactions to life events and process your negative feelings.
I will make sure that you feel safe and comfortable enough to touch on your experiences and difficult feelings and will help you to get to the root causes of your problems. That will helpe you to release your bottled up emotions, clear your mind and bring back joy and happiness into your life.
My practice is Integrative, which means that I can draw upon a number of different psychotherapeutic approaches in order to best support you as you explore and process the issues you bring to sessions.
The foundation of my practice is Person-Centred, in which you are trusted as the expert in your life, and so are the best person to know what decisions are best for you while I will be supporting you to achieve that. The therapy centres on the faciliation of a trusting and nurturing therapeutic environment in which you can explore your issues, reflect and receive gentle challenges.
Integrative approach allows me to use techniques that might match with your presented issues from different approaches such as; Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Existential,Solution-Focused and Psychodynamic therapy.
Integrative approach is a collaborative process in which we work together to identify therapeutic goals, discuss and explore your issues and review your sense of the therapeutic process regularly.
You will gain a deeper understanding of who you are and what you want from your life which will help you to reconnect to yourself, improve your self-confidence and self-worth and reduce anxiety.
