About me
I'm a Brazilian psychoanalyst who immigrated to a completely different culture - the Netherlands. Now I'm also a trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.
Through my professional and personal experience, I have learned that the feeling of belonging is deeply intertwined with our well-being and self-confidence. Although belonging may seem more related to the external social environment, there is no sense of belonging without self-awareness.
95% of our behavior is unconscious so it takes conscious effort to think about things that come naturally in order to make a change. This is one of the reasons why I'm convinced that self-awareness is the key to making a change and finding a possible solution to our struggles.
