About me
Welcome to my profile! As a psychotherapist, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my diverse background and experiences. Growing up in the Middle East and later relocating to Europe for medical school and work, I have developed a deep understanding of cultural differences and the challenges faced by expatriates.
My passion for mental health was fuelled while working as a GP in a clinic from 2017- 2020, where I had the opportunity to witness the profound impact of psychological well-being on overall health. During that time, I delved into the realm of mindfulness-based stress management and cognitive therapy, realising their potential to transform lives. When the pandemic hit, I felt compelled to deepen my understanding of mental health and pursues a residency in acute psychiatry and addiction medicine, broadening my knowledge and skill in providing comprehensive care.
Today, as a certified cognitive therapist, I focus on online psychotherapy. I integrate compassion- and mindfulness-based approaches into my practice, recognizing the profound impact of self-compassion and present moment awareness on personal growth and healing. Furthermore, I strongly believe in body-centered approaches to address the global pandemic of overthinking. As a certified yoga instructor, seasoned meditator, and knowledge of Buddhist psychology, I incorporate these practices to foster a holistic approach. As an avid learner, I am constantly expanding my knowledge and experience with new therapeutic modalities. This allows me to offer customized therapies tailored to the unique needs of the individuals I work with. Together, we can navigate the challenges you face, promote self-discovery, and facilitate lasting positive change in your life.

My approach
My approach is a combination of CBT, mindfulness and compassion, as well as Buddhist psychology and nonviolent communication. My speciality is in the fields of anxiety, depression, rumination and addiction. That being said, I believe reflecting on our habits and patterns is a healthy activity that will increase the happiness of all.
My mission is to help you become your own therapist, and work in short intervals of 2 - 4 months. We usually meet once a week, and in between sessions you have trainings to help cement the new habits you need to move forward. My role is to help you navigate through the inner storm, gain the calmness needed, and the insights and clarity to live a full life.
