Mental health and well-being are shaped by how we understand ourselves and navigate life’s challenges. My therapeutic approach focuses on helping you uncover underlying patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and foster self-compassion. Through our work, we will create a space where you can safely explore yourself, empowering you to make meaningful changes and achieve greater balance in your life.
My approach is evidence-based and integrative as I practice multiple therapeutic modalities – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), and Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) Therapy. I tailor my therapeutic style to your unique situation, needs, and goals. I also stay updated with the latest relevant research in mental health to ensure you receive the highest quality of care.
My main areas of specialisation include:
• Anxiety (Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, specific phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
• Psychological, physical, and sexual abuse
• Relationship issues
• Gender incongruence and gender dysphoria
• Understanding and integrating sexual orientation, romantic orientation, gender identity, gender expression
I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals, being queer myself. I primarily work with LGBTQIA+ adults, offering sessions in English, Latvian, and Russian. My practice is grounded in respect for diversity and an understanding of the complex emotional and social challenges the community can encounter. Together, we will create a supportive and affirming space where you can safely be yourself in your identity, relationships, and experiences, including those related to BDSM and kink, without fear of judgment.
My role is to guide you in improving your well-being, building resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment. Through our therapeutic relationship, we can develop valuable tools and skills to overcome challenges and enhance your quality of life.
