I am an integrative psychotherapist and an art therapist. I offer a safe and contained space where you will have the chance to explore what has been concerning you. Together we will look at the issues that are causing you distress and work towards restoring balance so that you can reconnect with a greater sense of well-being. We can either work with a specific issue that you bring or work holistically towards unfolding your hidden potential, exploring ways that you can align with a more fulfilling experience of life. I have experience working with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, life transitions, loneliness, low self esteem, loss of meaning and purpose and relationship concerns.
I work in an integrative way, drawing upon different therapeutic approaches to meet one’s individual needs and suit their unique nature. I consider all aspects of the human being, including the spiritual, to which the language of symbols is often a gateway. Creative imagination can be used in our sessions to facilitate your self expression. Dreams and visualisations can also integrate the work as they often hold important messages and guidance. As an art therapist I have experience using creativity as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied History of Art. My Master’s investigation was dedicated to forms of art considered “outsider”, contributing to deepen my interest in the psyche’s creative nature.
