I’m a human being just like you — and I like to keep it real. I have a "no bullshit" policy towards my work as well. I deeply believe we meet first as humans at the core, and then build our therapeutic connection.
We don’t experience our lives alone.
We experience ourselves in relationships — with partners, family, friends, work, the places we live and the lives we thought we would have.
Sometimes these relationships become difficult. We find ourselves having the same argument with a partner, repeating patterns we promised ourselves we would never repeat, feeling disconnected from others or unsure of who we are becoming.
Sometimes nothing is obviously “wrong” — yet something no longer feels right.
I am a psychologist and Gestalt therapist working with individuals and couples. My work is centred around relationships, patterns and change: understanding what is happening within us, what happens between us and how we can create new possibilities when old ways of relating no longer work.
I offer a warm, open and non-judgemental space where we can slow down, become curious about your experience and explore what might need to change.
My approach
My approach is based primarily on Gestalt therapy & trauma-sensitive communication. This means we pay attention not only to the stories we tell about our lives, but also to what we are experiencing in the present moment—emotionally, physically, and in our relationships with others.
Together, we become curious about the patterns that may be repeating in your life and explore new possibilities for responding to yourself, others, and difficult situations.
I do not believe there is one “right” way to live. Therapy is not about fixing you or telling you what to do. Instead, it is a collaborative process of developing greater awareness, understanding yourself more deeply and finding ways of living that feel more authentic and supportive.
Coaching and personal development
Alongside my therapeutic work, I have more than ten years of experience in psychology, coaching, organisational development and conflict resolution.
I also work with people navigating professional transitions, difficult decisions, questions about career and direction, leadership challenges, or a general sense of being stuck.
Coaching may be particularly suitable if you are looking for a structured space to reflect, gain clarity and move towards meaningful change.
Living between worlds
I have a particular interest in working with people who are navigating life between cultures, countries or different identities.
Moving to another country or building a life between different worlds can bring opportunity and growth, but it can also raise questions about belonging, identity, relationships and home.
I welcome people from different cultural backgrounds and aim to create a space where your individual experiences and the wider context of your life can both be explored.
What to expect
You don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about before coming to a session.
In our first meeting, we will start with what brings you here now and what you hope might change. We will also have an opportunity to get a sense of each other and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe that a trusting relationship between therapist and client is an important part of the work.
I offer sessions in English and Ukrainian, both online and in person in Amsterdam. I also speak russian.
I look forward to meeting you.
