I am a licensed psychologist with passion for my work. I am a friendly, easy-going person and I have ambitions for a career in the field of psychotherapy. I have learned a lot about Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques after wathcing a variety of therapeutic cases with different mental illnesses, such as anxiety disorders and mood disorders.
To be more precise, through my internship in my Master’s degree in Clinical and Community Psychology, I have learned a lot about Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques, as I have watched a variety of therapeutic cases with different mental illnesses, such as anxiety disorders and mood disorders. I have gained a little experience in 1:1 counseling as well, as I had one personal client with whom we were doing weekly sessions. At the moment, I am working as a volunteer counselor in an online platform, where I am offering brief counseling sessions in a daily basis, and I volunteered at the Mental Health Center of the Psychiatric Department of the Katerini's Hospital, administering psychometric tests and attending sessions. From April 2024 to July 2024, I worked at a Center for the Reception of Unaccompanied Minors, where I carried out psychological assessments, individual and group sessions, as well as creating an individual plan for the beneficiaries. Through the above experiences I have come to leave a wide
range of incidents, of any age, nationality, sexual orientation and any other identity. At present, I maintain cooperation with a psychotherapy center in Athens where I offer individual psychotherapy sessions to adults.
Also, I have attended a lot of educational programs, such as “Assessment and Intervention in Suicidal Patients”, “Gender and Intersectionality”, "Cinematherapy" and “Working with Trauma, Dissociation, and Psychosis”.
