I work with children, teenagers and adults in person and online.
At the core of my work lies my bachelor degree in Psychology from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2015 and my specialisation in Clinical Expressive Art Therapy with Dr. Avi Goren-Bar.
Additionaly, my master studies in University of Essex were focused on work-related issues and dynamics within group and organisations.
My eagerness to expand and deepening my understanding of how to help people have lead me to commit in another four year training in Psychodramatic method, along with many other seminars and conferences.
In my personal life, I am devoted in meditation and body practices that teach me how to be present with non judement and open-heartedness.
Expressive Art Psychotherapy combines Gestalt, Jungian and Psychodynamic principles together with artistic modalities such as drawing, authentic movement, authentic singing, creative writing and music improvisations. The uniquness of this integrative approach is that most of the things that are bothering us have their roots in the unconscious and the unconsious communicates to us through symbols. Therefore, expressive arts is an approach that let us see below what we already think or we already know and allow us to comprehent a deeper meaning of our thoughts, feelings and actions. I would summarize my work as a therapeutic journey that passes trough the images and rhythms of ones' soul to end up in a more coherent, embraced and vitalised sense of ones' Self.
