My specialization is in treating all forms of trauma, including PTSD, C-PTSD (complex trauma), disaster/war trauma, and attachment trauma. This includes anxiety, panic, depression, and other emotional difficulties associated with current and/or past trauma. This includes working with interpersonal issues, such as difficulties in relationships, social support, and forming/maintaining connections with others.
I take a depth-oriented, psychodynamic approach to therapy. I consider psychotherapy both an art and a science, and value the relationship between myself and my client above all. I focus on immediate coping in times of emotional crisis and providing interventions informed by the psychological and neurobiological impacts of trauma.
