For me, presence in the here-and-now, authenticity, and empathy is very important. I work eclectically, which means I draw on multiple theoretical techniques within psychotherapy, in order to suit the unique needs of the individual person.
Some of the methods I use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. Furthermore, the connection between therapist and client is, for me, one of the most essential factors in the therapeutic space.
Testimonials from previous clients:
"Having worked with two other therapists throughout my life, Camilla is by far the best match I have gotten. She has an incredibly calm and holistic approach and always made me feel safe and not judged. After my sessions, I realized that I was finally able to explain and share things that I never felt safe enough to put into words. One of the most valuable things I got out of our therapy sessions together were the tools she provided me with. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, though she managed to tailor the tools around my needs and was exceptionally capable of introducing me to how to use them."
"The sessions with Camilla have been a big support in a period of my life with many changes and different challenges as a consequence. The sessions have been a support for me and has helped me in the different challenges. Camilla has been stable and trustworthy through the progress.
She has taught different techniques to handle challenging situations - among others a certain technique that made a big difference for me and which I still use on daily basis."
