According to the psychodynamic approach, childhood experiences are crucial elements to form the personality and will continue to affect behavior and emotions into adulthood.
Therefore, I believe that all current psychological symptoms and problems are the result of past traumas. Hence, I use psycho-analytic methods to care for my clients.
These methods allow people to come in contact with their unconscious behaviors which opens the doors to better understand one’s self, and consequently take control of their lives.
My approach focuses on the unconscious mental forces that individuals are unaware of like hidden fears and desires deeply present within the mind yet influence the personality and behavior.
But most of all, the benevolent neutrality is at the core of my approach that implies respect, confidentiality and socially appropriate behavior with my clients.
