I have a background in the creative arts, spending most of my twenties and thirties living and working in London. For much of that time I experienced myself as profoundly lost. This challenged me to explore new ways of being, beyond the path I had set up for myself as a twenty-year-old.
In September 2017 I moved to Berlin, where I discovered the Pantarei Approach and instantly felt deeply connected. As a Pantarei practitioner I am connecting with my authentic self again and again - the me I am, behind all the me’s I think I should be. I learn to put trust in my own being, my intuition and my voice. I also learn what it means to deeply connect with others and how rich life is when we dare to meet each other beyond judgment and fear.
Just as with talking therapy I work together with clients over a number of sessions with the overall aim to deepen our knowledge and awareness of ourselves and how we interact with the world around us.
During a Session we pay a lot of attention to the body and its physical sensations. We explore the relationship between body and mind, and we get to know better how our body communicates with us, so our mind and body can become friends and start to learn from each other.
As our knowledge deepens, we notice clearly how we respond to what is going on around us. What triggers us into a state of fear, for example? What do we do to cope? The answers to questions like these, and many more, can be found in actual physical sensations. As we become more aware of these sensations, we gain the ability to choose how to respond. This allows for meaningful change to be established.
