Having lived and studied in the UK for the duration of seven years, I moved to Germany and qualified as a psychotherapist in Bremen, where I obtained my license (German Approbation) in 2017.
In 2017 I moved to Berlin, where I am currently working as a self employed psychotherapist in two practices with different locations. It is possible for me to offer treatment via the general insurances of Germany (GKV), as well as private patients.
In my professional practice I focus on the existing skills of my clients, in order to provide help for self-help. As I am also an art therapist, I can bring a creative approach into the treatment if desired.
What I value about the Cognitive Behavioral approach is, that it focuses on solving current problems and supports the development of personal coping strategies. It also helps to improve emotional regulation, by changing unhelpful beliefs, attitudes and behaviors.
