I am a trained psychologist & mental health practitioner. I support clients to thrive by overcoming their everyday psychological distress and help building resilience in the face of adversity. I offer online sessions.
I pursued my education and psychotherapy training in India. Now I am based in Berlin, Germany. I have been providing psychological support and engaged in research since 2007.
I live by the philosophy of ‘Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.’ And I help clients to minimize their psychological suffering so that they can unfold the greatness of life even in pain.
I am the author of children's book 'Rangon Ki Pathshala'/रंगों की पाठशाला (which translates in English as School of Colors) in Hindi language. The link of the book https://amzn.eu/d/0TrCiTq I write poems and short stories in Hindi/Urdu language and quotes in English. My writing mainly includes elements of psychology, philosophy, parenting and issues related to feminism.
My recent book 'Zindagi: Ummidon Ka Mar Jana Hi'/ज़िन्दगी: उम्मीदों का मर जाना ही (Life: Death/End of Hopes) which is a collection of poems in Hindi language. The main theme of the book revolves around the idea that we all have heard that Death is nothing; it's the death/end of hope. But what about those who have no hope? What about those who have no better tomorrow? What about those whose tomorrow is going to be worse? In some cases, this is a medical/non medical fact.
In such circumstances how do we keep hope when the reality is so dark? How to live life when all hopes have died.
Referring to such circumstances, the book conveys a strong message that these are the moments which help us to live an intentional, conscious, mindful and authentic life.
A LIFE which we actively CREATE no matter what happens to us.
If End/Death of Hopes= End of Life/Death Then End/Death of Hopes= Beginning of a New Life!
