M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and Psychodynamic Counsellor in Berlin
As a psychoanalytically oriented counsellor I tend to help people to get acquainted with psychological processes through a therapeutic relationship, in order to understand how those processes affect their life.
As a psychoanalytically oriented counsellor, my main focus is on working with relationships, transitional challenges, personal growth, as well as trauma, depression, grief, loss and anxiety. Through the years I have worked on several UNICEF and UNHCR projects which were focused on providing psychological support to vulnerable and marginalized groups.
In working with people I aim to help them to learn how to understand and integrate unacceptable and unknown parts of their personality. During psychological work, I use non-directive approach, where the client has complete freedom to express his fantasies, thoughts, emotions and dreams. The main goal is to get acquainted with psychological processes through a therapeutic relationship, in order to understand how those processes affect person's everyday functioning. I deeply believe that those kind of knowledges facilitate potential for change in all aspects of life.
