Sebastian Alexander Hale

Psychoanalyst, Psychodynamic Therapist, Clinical Psychologist

I'm a British-German fully licensed and bilingual psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with over 12 years of experience helping individuals change their lives. I practice online and at Mittelweg 50 in Neukölln.

For the last 12 years I have been working as a clinical psychologist and addiction counsellor with individuals and groups in a psychiatric clinic in Berlin. Through my extensive psychoanalytic training I have gained a deeper understanding of the internal conflicts that often shape human behaviour and perception. My passion is to help my clients get to know themselves better, so as to facilitate sustainable change in their lives. My native language is English and I am fully fluent in German.

My Approach

As an empathic listener, I provide a safe space in which my clients can share their thoughts, feelings, memories and dreams. Talking in this atmosphere leads the client to an increased awareness of previously unknown parts of her or his inner world. This in turn facilitates a greater understanding of the client's relationships to others and to themselves, promoting personality development and alleviating suffering.
