Our experiences are shaped not only by personal choices, but also by broader systems. As a feminist psychologist, I’m mindful of how power dynamics, cultural messages, and generational patterns impact mental health and relationships. I’m also queer-affirming and supportive of diverse life paths, including non-traditional relationships and family models, including consensual non-monogamy and solo parenthood.
I work through a trauma-informed and attachment-focused lens. This means I pay close attention to how trauma — whether subtle or significant — affects both mind and body, and how early relationships shape patterns in adult life. These perspectives have been transformative for many of my clients, as well as in my own journey.
Many of the people I work with notice themselves repeating the same unfulfilling dynamics in close relationships. They often reach out at different stages — while dating, during long-term partnerships, or after a breakup — wanting to shift long-standing patterns.
I also support:
• Young parents seeking support as they adjust to the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that come with early parenthood.
• Adults navigating relationships with ageing parents
• Single mothers by choice (SMBC) or “solomums” — women choosing motherhood on their own
Whether you're looking to shift patterns in your relationships or make sense of your changing identity in your current life stage, feel free to reach out for an initial session. I'd love to support you on your unique journey.
