About me
I am a psychologist, licensed psychotherapist under the German Heilpraktikergesetz, running my own practice, and in the final stages of my systemic therapy certification. I have had the privilege of supporting many clients in outpatient and (partially) inpatient settings, and I am continually amazed by how much meaning and joy this profession brings me.
I am passionate about helping people understand themselves better, recognize their resources, find their individual paths, overcome their challenges, and grow beyond themselves. I am also there when the next step is still too difficult. Not being alone with something that cannot be easily changed or overcome is often just as important as searching for solutions.

Systemic therapyGood for those who want to understand how their relationships and environments influence their behavior and emotions, particularly within family or organizational systems.
First and foremost, it's important to get to know each other and create a trusting atmosphere where my clients feel comfortable and willing to open up. Once I have a good overview of the challenges and both sides can envision a successful collaboration, we can decide on the direction of the therapeutic journey.
We always meet on equal footing and form a therapeutic alliance. I am the expert on theories and methods, while my clients are the experts on themselves. The individual objectives determine what we work on and how we spend your sessions—not me or a manual.
I support with empathetic and attentive presence, hypotheses, and questions, as well as with systemic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based methods. Supportive individuals are always welcome.
I am able to offer my services at a reduced fee to a limited number of financially needy clients. Please feel free to discuss this with me.
