We are all unique individuals with unique experiences, and therapy should reflect this. I work from a humanistic perspective where the needs of the individual are addressed in an open and compassionate manner. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is intertwined within my practice as it brings thoughts into awareness and encourages invaluable insight into our behaviour. With this knowledge in mind, we can better learn to work through the problems in our lives both internally and externally.
Having worked in Berlin for the past 10 years in the international community, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate your surroundings as an expat, whether you are at the start, middle or end of your journey abroad. The challenges and difficulties faced as an expat can significantly impact upon your mental well-being. I also have experience working with those people who may consider themselves to be 'Third Generation Individuals' and the complexities it can bring with it.
I also offer support to students for organisational and emotional needs. I have worked extensively with secondary school students (particularly IB students) for issues related to self-care, stress management, organisation and mental health support.
Meditation and mindfulness are a part of my practice. Its an important skill which can ease the chaos we experience everyday.
I offer a free initial 30 minute consultation.
If you would like to book a session, you can either book a session through the calendar feature on this site or you can message me directly (I may have more sessions available than what is visible on the calendar).
We can meet at any desired interval e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly check ins. Its really depends on how you want to manage your sessions :)
