About me

I’m a certified Educational Psychologist from Israel. I am fascinated by all relationships - Our relationships with ourselves, the ones with our family, with our partners, and with the world. I am fascinated by different cultures and different kinds of communication. I live and work in Berlin and I am part of a multicultural relationship. At my practice, I work with couples, Individuals, parents, teenagers, and teachers.

It is my belief that difficulties are a normal part of life for everybody. Life is imperfect - it brings joy, but also pain, it brings love, but also loss. Growing up and gaining experiences, we learn how to overcome the difficult part of life. However, sometimes we can’t overcome the situation on our own (either as individuals, as a couple, or as parents). When that happens, reaching out for help is a sign of strength and a commitment to a positive change in our life. My role as a therapist is to help to deal with the imperfect life in the best possible way. I do so by focusing on the immediate problem of daily life while also working on the underlying issues and their effect on life.

It's hard work. But a very rewarding one.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
I use an integrative approach to my therapy which is flexible and inclusive. Each one of us is unique, but we are also affected by our relationships and history (of Family, cultures, partners). Therefore, I wish to use my professional education and experience to create a bond together and develop a therapy plan which is specifically tailored for the individual/couple.

In working with Couples, I follow EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy) approach. In order to help the couple understand and reflect on the "Negative Dance" of misunderstanding and frustrations. Doing so will give the couple a chance to create a new way of communication without falling into the patterns of fights or distancing.
I believe that communication and relationships influence our life not only as couples but regarding family, meaningful others, educators of the children, working places, etc. My work would focus also on understanding the unique emotional and relationship language that guides our life.

With Individuals and adolescents, I work with CBT, ACT, and other researched-based methods. I work with anxieties, fears, social issues, life crises, and other topics.

One important aspect of my work is working with parents. I try to guide the parents regarding issues and dilemmas they have with their children on different topics. My work takes into account that the era we live in today is sometimes overwhelming and confusing for parents - we try together to gain tools and understandings that fit this confusing (and wonderful) time to be a parent.

Whenever I work with couples/children/parents/individuals, I am a big believer in working together, with the most respect and belief in one's ability to influence and change his/her life.
