About me

In my practice, I aim to support individuals of all ages and genders in overcoming their personal challenges by transforming them into their own hero's journeys. The central elements of the hero's journey serve as an excellent metaphor for a positive therapeutic process: the call, setting out on the adventure, the encounters with mentors, the finding of companions, the first trial, the decisive battle, and finally, the return to life. My heartfelt goal is to contribute to increasing the number of heroic stories in which individuals successfully navigate life's challenges and find personal fulfilment. My specialisations are based on what I have encountered most frequently in my practice over the past years: • Attachment issues (e.g., emotional dysregulation, being "triggered", unhelpful coping strategies, identity confusion, relationship problems) • Affective disorders, i.e., depression and anxiety • Neurodiversity (ADHD, ADD, autism spectrum, etc.) If you're unsure about what you're experiencing or how I might help, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can explore your concerns together and find the best path forward for you.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
I mostly work with CBT methods (and mindfulness-based approaches), however, I have found techniques from Psychodynamic Therapy and Body Psychotherapy to round off my therapeutic work. Especially for individuals who display difficulties to stay in touch with and regulate their emotions, working with the body can be extremely transformative. Besides this, analyzing relational patterns and understanding where a person comes from – what they have learned about relationships, the world in general, other people and themselves – seems inevitable for understanding current difficulties. Generally, the basis of my work is always a stable and dependable therapeutic relationship. Whether you face a difficult life transition or repeating cycles of negativity – there is a potential in all of us to move from crisis to personal growth.
