I assume that you didn't adopt your coping strategies without reason – they served you in certain situations. Together, we'll look at how these strategies affect you today, and develop new ways of dealing with stress and
I am a psychological psychotherapist (born and raised in Berlin) in the final stages of my training. I trained at an institute that teaches both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. (Every trainee ultimately has to specialize, and I chose to specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy).
Before beginning (and while) my psychotherapy training, I spent two years working in intercultural psychiatry. Paired with my own migration background, this experience shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the specific challenges that come with navigating multiple cultural worlds — something I bring into my work with clients from diverse backgrounds. I also spent over five years as an online psychologist at a start-up specializing in brief, focused interventions, which sharpened my ability to work efficiently and get to the heart of what a client needs.
Alongside psychotherapy, I offer ADHD diagnostics (DIVA).
In my personal time, I'm also interested in psychedelic integration work — an area I find genuinely promising for the future of therapeutic practice. So feel free to reach out if you're interested in psychedelic integration work.
I believe that symptoms tend to serve a helpful function. Anxiety, avoidance, perfectionism, shutting down — none of these appear out of nowhere. They are strategies your mind built to protect you from something. My aim is to help you understand and appreciate these strategies rather than fight them, and to build new, more helpful ways of meeting stress and overwhelm.
I work from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. Together, we look at where a pattern first came from — often through brief biographical work, tracing back to where a strategy first made sense — so that it starts to make sense rather than feel like something wrong with you. From there, our focus shifts to the here and now: what triggers the pattern today, what keeps it going, and what you can actually do differently. We build a clear, practical model together, then work step by step on what you'd like to change
I place great value on clients bringing their own goals into the room. You are the expert on your life; I bring structure, tools, and a space free of judgment. Therapy, at its best, isn't something I do for you — it's something we build together.
