Daniela Paunescu

My role is woven around the idea of evolution. I believe in the power of human beings to develop in a personal way that allows them to function optimally and to face the challenges of life. Like others, I have encountered all kinds of challenges in life, both personally and professionally, and I have chosen to reorient my existence, even if it meant coming down from the point where I had climbed hard, to be with people in their becoming. I functioned for a time out of inertia, and self-awareness, awareness, trust, forgiveness, love showed up later in life as a result of the psychotherapeutic process. That is why I know from my own experience and training that psychotherapy can transform your whole existence, bring you clarity, better adaptability, the ability to consciously choose how you want to organise your life. I look at the human being as a whole, where one aspect of life can unbalance the others, and that's why I integrated the study of nutrition into my training, interested in how what we eat affects our brain and emotional state.
