I completed my studies of medical psychology at the National Medical University named after O. O. Bogomolets. My internship lasted for a year and was done on the Basis of Kiev State Psychoneurological clinic named after I.P. Pavlov and Psychoneurological department of Kiev state railway clinic. For four years I worked at the Kyiv State Maternity Hospital No. 6 preparing married couples for joint childbirth, for breastfeeding and taking care of their newborn. I conducted individual psychotherapy before and after labour, conducting methods of prevention of different psychopathological states before and after birth. I continued studying group and individual psychoanalysis being a member of Association of Psychotherapists and Psychoanalysts of Ukraine. I have been working a as therapist conducting individual and group sessions for 7 years already under individual and group psychoanalytic supervision. Psychoanalysis is a way to reality, truth and verity, which can cure, console and make people’s self-image, the image of the other whole, which lets people be able to endure, transform and regulate their own emotions, feelings, helps build healthy deep trusting connections with others and makes them happier for knowing who they really are. The trouble that hasn’t been spoken of cannot be cured. Psychoanalysis helps people think the unthinkable, feel the unbearable feelings in the safe environment of trusting relationships and speak the yet unspoken truths that have been nagging one’s psyche sometimes since the womb. This helps one understand oneself better and what really is happening in one’s life, which then lets people to make conscious life decisions amenable to their true Self.
