I have 10 years of experience as a psychologist working with adults and children (but on-line I work only with clients over 18, I can consult parents though). I am at the end of four year training in psychotherapy (Dialog Psychotherapy School) accredited by Polish Psychiatric Association. I work under supervision which means that I regularly consult my work with another experienced psychotherapist.
How does a first contact with me look like?
During a few first sessions we talk about your goals for psychotherapy, I ask about your history and background, you of course answer according to your readiness in sharing parts of your life. You're encouraged to share at your own pace—I understand that building trust takes time. Subsequent sessions delve into topics from your daily life or past experiences, allowing us to examine your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we'll explore the 'rules' guiding your life, and I will adapt to your preferred communication style, whether you're more comfortable sharing freely or prefer structured questioning.
Do I specialize in anything?
Regarding specializations, I work with clients facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, anger management, feelings of worthlessness, obsessions, and relationship difficulties. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with neurodiverse populations, such as individuals diagnosed with dyslexia, ADHD, or autism. Moreover, I've supported mothers dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety.
