I'm a bilingual psychologist who started practicing in 2021. I use third-wave CBT approaches in my work because I am passionate about everything evidence-based.
My interests are photography, traveling, knitting, video games, swimming, jigsaw puzzles, board games, badminton, manga and anime, music, history, and movies. I consider myself a geek :)
I currently live in Slovenia with my husband, son, and two cats.
My passion is third-wave CBT approaches, which I combine in my work. I believe that CBT works best with anxiety issues, personality disorders, and eating disorders. I myself have a general anxiety disorder and recurring depression, which CBT helps me successfully overcome. This experience is exactly why I decided to become a therapist myself.
I also practice schema therapy, which has a perfect (in my opinion) way to explain what is happening to a person, how they approach their difficulties, and what else we can do to deal with life struggles more efficiently and with compassion to ourselves.
My work also spreads outside office walls with phototherapy that helps with body image issues, self-esteem issues, and so on.
I believe that the most important thing in therapy is the relationship between a therapist and a client. So I do my best to create a safe, trusting, and gentle environment where you can just be yourself and feel validated, without any judgment.
