My approach is integrative which means that I can draw upon a number of different psychotherapeutic approaches in order to best support you as you explore and process the issues you bring to sessions. The foundation of my practice is Person-Centred, in which you are trusted as the expert in your life, and so are the best person to know which decisions are best for you. The therapy centres the facilitation of a trusting and nurturing therapeutic environment in which you can explore your issues, reflect, and receive gentle challenges. The integrative approach also states that there may be certain approaches that fit you better, and so I draw upon knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural, Mindfulness, Existential and Psychodynamic approaches. The integrative approach is a collaborative process in which we work together to identify therapeutic goals, discuss preferences for therapeutic approaches and review your sense of the therapeutic process regularly.
You will gain a deeper understanding of who you are and what you want from your life which will help you to reconnect to yourself, improve your self-confidence and self-worth and reduce anxiety. Try me.
