I chose to specialise in Jungian psychotherapy because Carl Jung's commitment to experiencing a more abundant life, through awareness of the creative urge and spiritual longing, resonated with my desire to support people in coming to a deeper understanding of themselves. I offer the opportunity for a growing acceptance of one's potential, and consideration of those things which feel unresolved or limiting within a safe and non-judgemental environment.
Those considering psychotherapy might come initially with a specific issue, such as anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, questions around sexuality and/or gender, or dissatisfaction with intimate relationships; alternatively, you might feel a more general sense of not being fully yourself, or wish to transform habits and patterns of behaviour. Psychotherapy can offer space and time to explore with someone else both presenting issues and their underlying causes.
I work with patients both in person and online, once- or twice-weekly.
