I've been a therapist for ten years now, and I can honestly say that nothing rivals the experience of being trusted with the deepest thoughts and feelings of a complete stranger. I've worked a few jobs in my life, from Flight Attendant to TV Producer, but being a therapist is by far, the coolest job ever! I am in constant awe of my client's courage and resilience through life's most challenging moments, and am honored to witness their willingness to be vulnerable.
While juggling a thriving private practice with marriage, motherhood, and that all important "self care", my family and I decided to make a leap of faith of a lifetime and moved to France in 2023. I always dreamt of living in Europe and have been enamored with the French language since I was young. Starting our lives over, I find myself facing many challenges and growth opportunities, which I believe enables me to meet clients with empathy and compassion.
One of the goals in moving from the US to France was to simplify our lives. This has meant that we can now work towards embodying personal values, such as community, kindness, and quality over quantity. I have found that our new lifestyle has resulted in a reducation of stress, anxiety, and rushing. In working with clients in Lyon and greater France, I have met some of the most fascinating clients from all over the world and I am looking forward to being of service.
