I grew up in a yoga community in upstate New York and Canada where existential questions often pondered in the community such as "who am I?" and "what is my life purpose" and beliefs such as "health is wealth and peace of mind is happiness" have played an important role in my choosing to major in Psychology at Mount Holyoke College. At the age of 21 I moved to Barcelona and became a licensed psychologist through studying for 4 more years and obtaining a Homologation of the Spanish degree "licensed in Psychology." Since the age of 19 I have also regularly visited Plum Village for yearly 3 week retreats as my mother is a Buddhist nun there and Mindfulness practices are central to my personal well being as well as to my therapy practice. I consider myself to be a humanist psychologist and am a certified Gestalt therapist, Level II EMDR Therapist and Level I IFS therapist and have been working in private practice since 2016.
I was raised in a bilingual family, my mother is French and my father from California, and today I am completely trilingual. I am passionate about trauma recovery and moving beyond identity trauma towards self compassion, inner peace and freedom.
