Jungian psychotherapy is an arrangement for longer-term psychological work in which patient and therapist work together toward a more comprehensive understanding of the unconscious factors influencing the patient's suffering and difficulties for a more holistic improvement in the patient's quality of life. In several consultations prior to this, the request is clarified as well as the working framework. Various experiences, emotions, dreams, fantasies, and other forms of creative activity are explored in the therapy process to aid this process. Therapy is a personal journey in which the psychologist is a companion who creates a safe space of understanding and acceptance for all of the patient's experiences. The therapeutic office becomes a laboratory in which to be honest with oneself, to express curiosity and explore one's experiences with the therapist. It is in this space, in dialogue with the therapist, that one can see and know oneself in a new way.
I work with colleagues providing free sessions for people from Ukraine and we have option for Ukrainian or Russian translation during the sessions.
