I started training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in 2012 and I've been using it in my work since then. My goal as a CBT therapist is to help my patients see the connections between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors and challenge the unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving that keep the problem going. I've also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is considered a third wave CBT therapy. I specialize in generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anger management.
