My approach is founded in compassion, curiosity and care. It is inspired by Humanistic, Somatic, and Trauma-informed approaches, collaboratively working with you in creating an open and curious space for you to self-reflect and discover the tools that work for you. By supporting the organic unfolding of your own inner wisdom, I believe it is important to develop a unique treatment plan that reflects your goals, using mindfulness-focused, and compassion-focused techniques. I believe in the intricate connection between the body and the mind and the power of body-focused approaches to healing.
During my training, I was guided in using Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and CBT techniques, working with international clients dealing with social anxiety, anger management, emotional regulation, self-compassion, assertiveness and interpersonal communications, depression, anxiety disorders and issues related to gender identity and sexuality. Since then, I have experience working with suicidal ideation and self-harm, trauma, abusive relationships and grief.
I currently work with Somatic Experiencing, which is a somatic approach focused on healing trauma.
