There is no “one size fits all” therapy or therapist for everyone and their needs. Hence, I practice an integrative/holistic therapeutic approach. This way, I can better cater to what my clients need through working with techniques and elements from different therapeutic orientations. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy (ST), Positive Psychology (PP), Rogers, etc. I am also continuously learning and attending training in order to be able to acquire new techniques and approaches that may benefit my clients.
Sometimes issues arise and persist, ones that we may not be able to tackle on our own and it’s okay to have to ask for external help. My goal is to help you better understand the issues or struggles at hand and how to overcome them or better manage them.
I aim to provide my clients with a judgment-free zone where they can express themselves freely and openly. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and safe with me in order to start a healthy therapeutic journey. Therapy is a joint effort and it is when working together with the client, that progress is truly made.
