I'm Anna Votskou, a licensed psychotherapist actively practicing in Athens. With a deep passion for helping others, I graduated from the Psychology department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, I am undergoing specialised training in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Centre for Systemic Study and Therapy of Thessaloniki (KESMETH), an EFTA and E.E.P.E. certified organisation, demonstrating my commitment to providing the highest quality of care. I am also advancing my expertise in applied developmental psychology through a master’s programme.
As part of my professional development, I engage in ongoing supervision and personal therapy, recognizing the indispensable value they bring to my psychotherapeutic practice. Through my personal therapy journey, I have gained invaluable virtues that enhance my effectiveness as both a compassionate individual and a skilled professional. It is my genuine aspiration that every person I work with can experience similar transformative growth.
In addition to my education and training, I actively contribute to the well-being of the community. I have volunteered at a STD’s prevention centre and I have coordinated and participated in social circus actions aimed at empowering vulnerable groups.Continuing to expand my knowledge and expertise, I regularly attend seminars on various topics such as couples therapy, women's empowerment, psychosomatic symptoms, and eating disorders. By staying abreast of the latest research and approaches, I ensure that my clients receive the most effective and up-to-date therapy possible.
Overall, my dedication to ongoing professional development, combined with my genuine empathy and diverse experiences, enables me to create a warm and nurturing therapeutic environment. It would be my privilege to accompany you on your journey towards personal growth and well-being.
