Gathering New Practices for a Changing World
We are living through profound change. War, climate anxiety, political polarisation, social fragmentation and rapidly developing technologies are reshaping the world in which therapy takes place.
These forces do not remain outside the consulting room. They enter through our clients, our screens, our institutions and our own bodies and imaginations. Therapy has always responded to a changing world. But today, its future can feel as though it is being imagined primarily by technology companies, investors and institutions.

What new practices are already emerging?

What must we protect?
What may need to be left behind?

What can we create together that none of us could create alone?
At our last conference, we used the image of the therapist as a bee, moving from flower to flower, gathering experience, knowledge and inspiration. But a bee does not collect nectar only for itself. It returns to the hive, where what has been gathered is transformed into something new.
Humans have gathered honey for thousands of years. An ancient image from Cueva de la Araña in eastern Spain shows a person climbing towards a wild hive, surrounded by bees. Honey was not simply found: it had to be reached for, gathered, carried back and shared.
Each of us ventures out and returns with something. Together, what we gather can become nourishment for a larger community.

We welcome established work, experiments and unfinished questions, including forms that do not fit neatly into a conventional conference programme.
Propose a paper, workshop, conversation, panel, performance, artwork, walking practice or live experiment.
A hive can be a few therapists who meet once, an existing group, or a wider city network.
Submitting a proposal is free. If your contribution is accepted, each confirmed presenter can book a reduced conference ticket for €49, which helps cover food and basic event costs. This rate is also available to City Ambassadors. Presenting does not include a free conference ticket.
If you are joining as a participant, choose an attendee ticket on Eventbrite at the price shown when you book. Travel and accommodation are separate.
Deadline: 31 December 2026. Individual practitioners and local hives are equally welcome.
Submit a proposal5–6 June 2027. Participant ticket prices and availability are shown on Eventbrite.
