My approach is client-centred, meaning that I always strive to give you the space to write your own story and to feel empowered in it.
It is important to me to create a space that is authentic, non-judgemental and anti-oppressive. I use a blended approach in sessions, drawing upon a range of therapies and frameworks depending on your needs and preference. Most commonly, I use CBT and third wave CBT modalities (ACT and DBT) as well as stress management strategies and emotional regulation strategies. I am a firm believer in curious exploration, but also that therapy cannot work without healthy challenging, so you can expect this in a session with me.
I have experience with a variety of presentations including anxiety, low-mood & depression, burnout and stress, culture shock, perfectionism, emotional regulation, self-harm, panic, low self-esteem and LGBTQI+ & identity concerns.
