In my master's degree, I took a course named 'CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy)' and I like to use this therapeutic approach. Many studies have shown the effectiveness in CBT within several disorders such as depression, anxiety, etc. For example, in case of a depression, CBT suggests 'behavioral activation' and for people with anxiety it suggests 'exposure'. Both, exposure and behavioral activation have helped lots of people suffering from depression and anxiety. In my internships I could observe the positive effects of CBT. However, I also use other methods like EFT (emotion focused therapy) and skills from DBT (dialectical behavior therapy).
