My therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), focusing on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I focus a lot on immigrants and provide therapy in English and Spanish. For immigrants dealing with anxiety and depression due to their move, I provide a supportive and empathetic environment where we can work together to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and build resilience to navigate the challenges of adjusting to a new culture and environment.
For children and adolescents experiencing anxiety or depression, I create a safe and understanding space to address their unique challenges. By using CBT techniques, we can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and enhance their self-esteem and confidence to better manage the difficulties they face during this crucial stage of their lives.
