mariana del rio chacon

I am Mariana del Rio (she/her), I grew up in Mexico, I come from French- Spanish third generation background, cisgender, pansexual woman. I am trilingual and part of  the dramatherapy and the circus community in Montreal.  I had training in classical ballet, a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master in Dramatherapy. The above has allowed me to gain the sensitivity to understand the body and how the world affects every one of us. Movement has been one of my motivations to understand the mind and its connection with the body. My therapeutic approach has been definitely impacted by dance and authentic expression.  I believe arts should be available for everyone, and specially as a way to convey, understand and process the world.
