Laura Camila Reyes Torres

I am a dedicated and driven graduate psychologist and sociologist with an international background and expertise in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), particularly within educational and organizational contexts. My academic foundation in Sociology and Psychology and my experience as a Latin woman in diverse environments inform my approach to building inclusive and culturally sensitive environments. I have helped many individuals as a social and academic mentor during my time in high school and at university. As a former research assistant and student staff member at Utrecht University, I have knowledge of the scientific background and the people behind the data. I am especially knowledgeable in cultural differences and transgenerational trauma. I am always learning and am open to understanding specific cultural difficulties and working within these boundaries. I seek opportunities to leverage my knowledge and skills to empower people, foster belonging, and drive transformative social impact.
