Über mich
I am a Psychological Counsellor with extensive experience in working with adolescents and adults. I have worked with concerns in the areas of behaviour, self esteem, anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationships, marriage and parenting. I also have experience as a Psycho-Oncologist and have worked on issues related to grief, family support and coping with crisis.
Working with people from different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds has helped me gain a perspective of the complexities and challenges that they struggle with everyday. I intend to use this knowledge to support individuals from different cultures and ethnicities.
I believe in the immense potential that counselling has, in a non judgemental and safe space, to help an individual understand their difficulties and work through them with the support of a compassionate counsellor.

My approach to counselling is mostly drawn from Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused therapy. However, I do believe in the use of techniques and theories that best suit the needs of the individual and thus use an integrative approach in my practice. I strive to offer a compassionate and safe environment for individuals to understand their challenges and explore their potential.
